DESCRIPTION:
Chemically-adapted blood and an unusual metabolism keep Y. Killadhae warm on the snowfields of planet Romini. Near the bottom of the food chain, their world is one of constant threat and terror. There is very little in existence that might not kill them. Their hunger is only sated by the chunky, fleshy roots of the mordite plant.
