DESCRIPTION:
Chemically-adapted blood and an unusual metabolism keep H. Dankohoe warm on the snowfields of planet Doug. This predator moves slowly and deliberately, preserving their energy for the hunt. They pursue their prey in short, intense sprints. Carnivores, they prefer to hunt larger creatures. They strip the flesh from the bones of their prey before finally consuming the marrow in a way that is almost ritualistic.
