Discovered on Oskearda Ennan, where they survive despite hostile levels of background radiation. Long lives and a deep genetic memory give them an uncanny ability to predict future events. No famine or drought ever catches them by surprise. Though they have mouths, it seems their primary nutrient intake is via their skin, in a form of atmospheric mineral absorption.
