Chemically-adapted blood and an unusual metabolism keep O. Scrofsmeneus warm on the snowy air of planet Rily G37. Curious and intelligent, their nests are stuffed with brightly coloured rocks and slivers of metal. Some build elaborate metal structures, showing remarkable artistry. Sharp vision allows them to detect seeds just as they begin to swell in their pods, giving them an edge over other foraging creatures.
