DESCRIPTION:
"D. Tetramedocica makes its home in the fields of planet Fufordue XIX. Social animals, they show great care in tending to their young and their sick. Sharp digging claws allow them to excavate and consume plant roots, which appear to make up the bulk of their diet.

Additional Observations: Can sense magnetic fields"

Cataloger's notes: Despite what the Discovery Tab says, they tend to show up alone (or at least not in herds). The true form as seen in the Discovery Tab is a dark orange, like amber or sap; their glow, however, makes it appear bright yellow like the sun.
